Andrée Tremoulet

Andrée Tremoulet founded Commonworks Consulting in 2012 to offer research, community-based planning, and program design services to public and non-profit clients in community development, housing and planning.

With over 25 years of experience and a Ph.D. in urban studies, Andrée offers clients seasoned judgment and strong analytical and organizational skills. She enjoys wrestling with messy information and complex problems to create coherent, practical, and actionable products. She works with diverse stakeholders to build effective teams and committees.

In addition to consulting, Andrée conducts research on homelessness, affordable housing, and community development issues as a research associate with the Center for Urban Studies at Portland State University. She examines the challenges faced by people and places at the fringe. As an adjunct instructor, she teaches housing, planning and community-based research design courses in the Urban Studies program. She brings hands-on learning and real-world experiences into the classroom.
